LG Rollable Smartphone
Recently LG released the LG Wing smartphone, which incorporated a rotating screen. The introduction of the LG Wing potentially offers a new way to use smartphones. LG is now developing another smartphone that involves a rollable screen. This new technology is another method to turn a smartphone into a tablet for more productivity. The user will able to pull from one side and the display will get bigger unveiling a big screen. The screen will be able to retract and extend depending on the use.
Not much has been unveiled about what the rollable smartphone would contain internally. It is expected the smartphone will contain the latest Snapdragon processor and a decent battery to cater for the adaptable screen. The rollable smartphone is another opportunity for LG to experiment with a radically new design that goes away from the emerging market of foldable smartphones. Whether this new implementation of a rollable display will be a good contender for the Samsung Fold will need to be seen when LG releases the LG rollable smartphone.
The LG rollable smartphone is expected to release around March 2021 with a similar price point of the LG Wing of $1000.
