CES 2020
The annual Consumer Electronics Show has happened with plenty of technology announced from a number of companies who are displaying their latest technology products. CES 2020 provides a glimpse of the future of what technologies will be available in the near future. Here are the top 5 announcements made at this year’s CES.
Samsung Q950TS
Samsung unveiled its flagship QLED TV for 2020. The Q950TS is an 8K boasting state of the art picture and sound features. The TV also contains a host of artificial intelligence enhanced processing to help boost brightness and efficiency. The Q950TS has a new Infinity design that eliminates the bezel with a tiny 2mm-wide border around the top and side edges. This stunning 8K TV looks beautiful and smart that is able to produce bright sharp pictures in 8K resolution.
Sony Vision S
Sony showcased their concept car called the Sony Vision S. Sony created the concept car to showcase the company’s technology from cameras to audio technology. The car features always-on connectivity and 33 different sensors inside and outside of the car. The car also features multiple widescreen displays as well as a panoramic screen in place of a dashboard for display driving information and entertainment.
OnePlus Concept One
OnePlus unveiled a concept phone that contains a special glass that can be translucent to hide the cameras and then becomes clear when the cameras are being used. This smart glass works by passing a voltage through the glass.
Uber and Hyundai to offer flying taxi rides by 2023
Uber and Hyundai showed a full-size mock-up of their flying taxi called the Uberdai which will carry a pilot and three passengers up to 60 miles at speeds of up to 180mph.
Samsung Bot Chef
Samsung unveiled its Bot Chef that is capable of rummaging through cabinets, pour ingredients into a pan, and mix them up to create a tofu salad using AI and computer vision algorithms.
