Top 5 Smartphones 2019

This year we have seen an introduction of new concepts of smartphones from pop-up camera smartphones such as the Asus Zenfone 6 to the Samsung Galaxy Fold which had a couple of mishaps upon release. However this year we have seen more overall well-designed smartphones and here are the top five smartphones of 2019.

Samsung S10

Samsung released its flagship Galaxy smartphone the S10 series with a number of improvements from the previous generation. The S10 sees an embedded fingerprint scanner under Samsung’s AMOLED display which is considered the best display in the industry with its dynamic colours providing the best viewing experience. The S10 enables its users to share battery power via Samsung’s Wireless Powershare allowing users to charge another device via the back of the handset.

Huawei P30 Pro

This year sees the Hauwei P30 Pro causing a stir with its camera that enables 5x and 10x with a digital 50x zoom as well as its incredible low-light capabilities definitely caused smartphone users turning their heads. The P30 Pro comes equipped with a Full HD+ resolution display giving user clear and crisp images to match the high-quality camera. Recently Huawei has hit headlines with privacy issues. As a result Google has suspended Huawei’s future access to the Play Store. Although phones that are currently on the market will continue to be supported, this will be a huge blocker for future smartphone releases.

iPhone 11 Pro

iPhones released in recent years haven’t seen a huge amount of improvements apart from the odd new feature here and there. This year sees the introduction of the pro line up which sees an upgrade of the camera to a triple camera set up that has a telephoto, standard and wide-angle lens. The use of all three lenses has enabled the iPhone 11 Pro smartphone to take some breathtaking photos. The 11 Pro also sees improvements in battery life allowing the phone to last longer than previous generations.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus

Samsung’s largest flagship smartphone the Note 10 Plus provides a better all-round entertainment smartphone than their S10 line-up. The Note 10 Plus improves the viewing experience using their Infinity-O cutout display allowing for an immersive experience. The Note 10 Plus camera is still amazing, although when compared to the S10 flagship then there is no comparison between the two.

OnePlus 7T Pro

The OnePlus 7T Pro is a minor upgrade of the amazing all-round OnePlus 7 Pro. The 7T Pro comes with large display that will compete with other flagship high-end smartphones out in the market. The camera will take good pictures however when compared to the more higher-end smartphones such as the Samsung S10 and iPhone 11 Pro then it loses here.
