OnePlus 7 Pro

OnePlus has slowly started to become an innovative smartphone company that is able to deliver a reasonably priced smartphone with high-end features and specifications. In comes the OnePlus 7 Pro that has a bezel-less display and high specifications that can meet the needs of high demand users.

Let's start with the specifications; the OnePlus 7 Pro comes equipped with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with Adreno 640 GPU, providing enough processing power for multitasking and gaming when paired 6/8/12GB RAM. The One Plus 7 Pro features an AMOLED 6.67inch display, 48MP and 16MP wide angle and 8MP telephoto rear camera and 16MP front-facing camera. Their storage options go up to 256GB that comes equipped with a 12GB RAM.

Display and Fingerprint Reader

The display features Fluid AMOLED which has a refresh rate of 90HZ, which would mean you will experience much smoother motions when navigating Oxygen OS, playing games or watching videos. The big display means that the device overall is big to handle, so it’s not too great for people with small hands. However, the big display provides great real estate to digest content or game. The display features an under display fingerprint reader. The OnePlus 7 Pro uses V2 of the technology that means quicker and more accurate fingerprint recognition.

Pop Up Camera

As the display is fully bezel-less that means the selfie-camera has been moved. The solution that OnePlus has used is to make the selfie camera pop up from the top. The camera pop-ups with a mechanical whirl and features drop detection which will detect when the smartphone is in freefall and will retract the camera quickly to stop it from being damaged.

Triple Threat Camera

The main camera has a triple camera configuration that features a 48M camera, 16MP ultra wide and 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The phone also features a Night Sight mode that will help with environments with low-lit areas. OnePlus has always had a poor camera from the first generation to recent predecessors, and although OnePlus is slowly improving this area which shows with every new generation, however it still hasn’t caught up with the likes of Samsung, Apple, Google and Huawei Flagship smartphones. The OnePlus 7 Pro overall camera performance is great and an improvement on the previous generation, nevertheless it’s important to note that it isn’t flawless.

Speedy performance

OnePlus’s main expertise is building an ultra-fast smartphone which is well demonstrated in the OnePlus 7 Pro that can come equipped with 12GB of RAM and a mighty Snapdragon 855 chipset which will have no problems running apps, downloading games and watching videos at the same time. The phone comes equipped with a 10 layer liquid cooling system under the phone to keep it cool during high demanding tasks.

Battery

The phone comes equipped with a 4,000mAh battery. This will be enough to get you through a full day of normal use. If you find yourself low on battery in the middle of the day during high usage then you can rely on the Warp Charge 30 charger that will get you to 90% after an hour’s charge.

Summary

OnePlus has built a great overall smartphone that packs futuristic features and high-end specifications, which will make high-end companies shake. The pro line up is not for your usual user due to its high specification. This phone is created for individuals who love entertainment and are constantly viewing media every day.
