Superhero Skydive

I have been part of a fundraising event set up by the Berkeley Foundation to raise money for Surrey Young Carers which offer support to young carers in Surrey. The charity help offers advice, support and opportunities to take part in regular activities to give them time out from their caring role. This is where the Superhero Skydive comes in.

17 brave and wonderful people jumped out of a perfectly good plane to raise money for these amazing young carers who go out of their way to care for their loved ones.

Thank You

Just would like to thank everyone that has either donated to me or to these other 16 amazing people, some faced their fears of heights and some just trembled in fear of the worst possible scenario. However, everyone made it safely down from either 10,000 or 15,000ft (the crazy ones would go for this height).

I would also like to thank everyone that came down to support the skydivers, especially Heleen and Shruti that came down to not only support us but to look after our well-being on that particularly boiling hot day ensuring we are well hydrated. One last thank you to Sam who brought a television and aerial so everyone could watch the England vs Sweden game even though the majority of us missed the first half however I'm sure everyone at the skydive centre appreciated it.

Where to Donate?

It's never too late to donate to this great cause. We have another group of brave and amazing people jumping out on the 21st of July (Good luck to them).

You can donate on my JustGiving page; see the link below and do check out the Berkeley Group Superhero Skydive JustGiving page to see how much has been raised as a group overall.

Feel free to check out the gallery and video of my Superhero Skydive.
